SINOPSIS / SYNOPSIS
 

ESPAÑOL

Cuatro jóvenes se preparan para un examen que va a cambiar su futuro, mientras la vida les pone a prueba cada día. La lucha cotidiana y silenciosa de quienes buscan un trabajo, al tiempo que evitan la siguiente ola del temporal en el que les ha tocado navegar. El reto: jugarse el futuro en un solo día. El contexto: España, el país con más paro juvenil de Europa. Su mejor apoyo: un profesor que les motiva y acompaña en todo momento con la entrega y la cercanía de un maestro.

ENGLISH

Four young people prepare for an exam that will change their future, while life tests them every day. The daily and silent struggle of those who seek a job while avoiding the next wave of the storm in which they have to navigate. The context: Spain, the country with the most youth unemployment in Europe. Their best support: a teacher who motivates and accompanies them at all times with the delivery and closeness of a life coach.

Luis Calero (Valencia, 28 de octubre de 1979) es periodista y ha trabajado sobre todo como guionista, realizador y reportero en television. Durante los últimos 10 años ha sido reportero del programa de Televisión Española “Españoles en el mundo”, con el que ha grabado en más de 70 países.
En 2017 grabó dos documentales para la serie documental de la 2 de Televisión Española “Héroes Invisibles”, sobre cooperación internacional en lugares de conflicto. Dirigió los epidodios grabados en Colombia sobre el desarme de las FARC y también en el Mediterráneo Central sobre el recate de refugiados frente a las costas de Libia.
En 2016 trabajó en dos series documentales para Olympic Channel: “Heroes of the future” y “The tech race”.
En 2015, durante su estancia en la Escuela Internacional de Cine de Cuba (EICTV), dirigió el cortometraje documental “El día de mañana”.

ENGLISH

Luis Calero (Valencia, October 28, 1979) is a journalist and has worked mostly as a scriptwriter, filmmaker and reporter on television. For the last 10 years he has been a reporter for the program “Españoles en el mundo” of the Spanish National Television. He has been filming in more than 70 countries.
In 2017 he recorded two documentaries about international cooperation in places of conflict for the documentary series called “Invisible Heroes” of the Channel 2 of TVE. He directed the epidodes recorded in Colombia about the disarmament of the FARC and also in the Central Mediterranean about the refugee recue close to the coast of Libya.
In 2016 he worked on two documentary series for Olympic Channel: “Heroes of the future” and “The tech race”.
In 2015, during his stay at the International Film School of Cuba (EICTV), he directed the short documentary “El día de mañana”.
