SINOPSIS / SYNOPSIS

 

ESPAÑOL

Eric es director en una humilde academia de francés y el encargado estos últimos días de encontrar un nuevo profesor. Por eso está haciendo una serie de entrevistas de trabajo, pero son un simple trámite porque hoy se presenta Javier, el candidato con mejor currículo e inmejorables referencias para el puesto.

Eric is the director of a humble French languag e school and has been in charge of finding a new teacher for the last few days. So he is conducting a series of job interviews, but they are a mere formality because today Javier, the candidate with the best resume and unbeatable references for the job, is applying.

Eric est le directeur d'une modeste école de langue française et est chargé depuis quelques jours de trouver un nouveau professeur. C'est pourquoi il mène une série d'entretiens d'embauche, mais ils ne sont qu'une formalité car aujourd'hui, Javier, le candidat qui possède le meilleur CV et des références imbattables pour le poste, postule.

ESPAÑOL
Titulado como Técnico Superior en Realización de Audiovisuales y Espectáculos en el Instituto Mendizabala de Vitoria-Gasteiz (1999-2001), donde realiza dos cortometrajes "Aperitivo Nocturno" (2000) y "Síndrome de Abstinencia" (2001), ambos con una mención honorífica en el festival de vídeo de Sant Joant d’Alacant.  En los años posteriores tabaja en Madrid como cámara, realizador, editor, maquinista, y sobre todo, eléctrico. Entre sus trabajos como realizador destacan algunos trabajos, como los video-clips "I can't win" (The Dealers), "Salgai" y "Belduraren Aroa" (Eratu), o el reportaje-documental “TDF Signo” dentro del Tenerife Design Festival. En 2007 estudia guión, consiguiendo una subvención para su guión de largomentraje "La Piedad de Dios" (2008).  En 2013 cursa sus estudios teatrales en la escuela de Mar Navarro, donde imparten técnica Lecoq. Al acabar la escuela, continúa sus estudios con diversos monográficos y en este tiempo se involucra en varios proyectos teatrales y audiovisuales. Durante los años posteriores trabaja en seis proyectos de la compañía Teatro Paraíso Antzerkia, y en Madrid, entra en la compañía “Proyecto Barroco” (de reciente creación) formando parte del elenco permanente en todos sus montajes hasta la actualidad (“Un musical Barroco”, “La historia más surrealista jamás cantada. El legado” y “La Toffana”). En 2018 retoma su faceta de director, rodando “Pizza” junto a Iñaki Rikarte, el proyecto ve la luz a primeros de 2019 consiguiendo una gran acogida en festivales, con cerca de 80 selecciones y más de 20 premios. En 2020 graba el documental “Fuentes de la voz” y el cortometraje “Parlez-vous?” que verán la luz tras la pandemia en 2022.

Graduated as a Superior Technician in Audiovisual and Entertainment Production at the Mendizabala Institute of Vitoria-Gasteiz (1999-2001), where he made two short films "Aperitivo Nocturno" (2000) and "Síndrome de Abstinencia" (2001), both with an honorable mention at the video festival of Sant Joant d'Alacant.  In the years that followed, he worked in Madrid as a cameraman, director, editor, machinist and, above all, electrician. Among his work as a filmmaker, some of his most outstanding works are the video-clips "I can't win" (The Dealers), "Salgai" and "Belduraren Aroa" (Eratu), or the re-documentary "TDF Signo" within the Tenerife Design Festival. In 2007 he studied screenwriting, obtaining a grant for his feature film script "La Piedad de Dios" (2008).  In 2013 she studied theater at Mar Navarro's school, where she was taught Lecoq technique. After finishing school, she continues her studies with several monographs and during this time she is involved in several theatrical and audiovisual projects. During the following years he worked in six projects of the company Teatro Paraíso Antzerkia, and in Madrid, he joined the company "Proyecto Barroco" (recently created) as part of the permanent cast in all its productions until today ("A Baroque musical", "The most surrealist story ever sung. The Legacy" and "La Toffana"). In 2018 he resumes his facet as a director, shooting "Piz-za" with Iñaki Rikarte, the project sees the light at the beginning of 2019 getting a great reception at festivals, with about 80 selections and more than 20 awards. In 2020 he shoots the documentary "Fuentes de la voz" and the short film "Parlez-vous?" which will be released after the pandemic in 2022.
